1. Who we are
This website is run by HostPro Academy. For any question about your personal data, write to info@hostproacademy.com. This policy covers this website only. The free training at go.hostproacademy.com is a separate website.
2. What this website collects
- Reading the site. The website has no accounts and no sign-up forms. Like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse.
- Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept in the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 records which pages you view, roughly where you are, your device and browser, and how you reached the site. If you decline, none of this is collected.
- The revenue calculator. The calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us.
- Contacting us. If you email us or send a WhatsApp message, we receive what you choose to send, along with your email address or phone number.
3. Why we use it
- To deliver the website and keep it secure. Basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, safe website.
- To answer your message. Basis: your request, or our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
- To understand which guides are read, so we can improve them. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. Our hosting provider and, when you use them, email and WhatsApp process data on our behalf or under their own terms. If you consent to analytics, Google Ireland Limited processes the analytics data for us, and it may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. We share data with public authorities only where the law requires it.
5. Embedded videos and fonts
Where a page shows a YouTube video, nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. The video then plays from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to it. The fonts on this website are served from our own domain, so no font service receives your IP address.
6. How long we keep it
We keep messages only as long as we need them to answer you and to follow up on the conversation.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to send it to another provider. Write to info@hostproacademy.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your national supervisory authority. In Belgium that is the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
8. Cookies
This website sets analytics cookies only if you accept them in the banner. It sets no advertising cookies and runs no Meta pixel. Our cookie policy explains this in more detail.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of the page.
